The RP Summer Camp staff is the foundation of our program. Having great counselors is what makes a camp successful. Our summer staff is made up of teachers, education majors, college graduates, and college athetes. We make sure we find the best and most qualified people to work at our camp. The counselors here love their job, and they go above and beyond to make sure your child is safe and having an amazing time. They care about each and every child, and they are all highly trained in how to handle difficult situations.The counselors play a key role in making the RP Summer Camp a safe, fun and exciting place for campers. They are the anchor upon which keeps this camp successful and fun all summer long.
Bob Kilmurray started the RP Summer Camp and RP after school program three years ago. Before starting the programs, he had years of experience working for the YMCA. He wanted to bring the programs he experienced back to his home town of Ridgefield Park in order to help the community. His objective was to provide a service for working parents who desire dependable care for their child. Bob worked hard to develop a program that would provide a service for parents, and create an environment that builds friendships, creates happinness, and helps children grow.
